How does it compare with Kwame Alexander's Crossover?

Jake I haven't read more then a bit of Crossover, but the libraries I have worked at have Crossover in our Middle School section, and Chlorine Sky is definitely aimed at a slightly older audience.

The main character is an older teen, dealing with issues of relationships, self-worth, and identity. Depending on the reader, I could see them pairing together ok, but I would just keep in mind Chlorine Sky seems to be aiming for older teens, where as Crossover felt to me more for early teens.
