Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

R. Lindsay Carter Like many of my ideas, this one came to me from a rather odd dream. I don't want to give away any plot points for people who haven't read it, but the dream gave me three of my characters, including Cressida and Grimm, and a whole scene from the book, involving an abandoned bathroom. I awoke from this dream and thought, "Whoa. That's a cool sequence." From there, I fleshed out the characters and built not only a book, but an entire series around this one dream!
