Kerry Scales
Kerry Scales asked:

Is this book appropriate for an elementary school?

Rachel This is a copy-paste of my answer from a similar comment, so the wording is a bit off but it pertains:
A bit late but that rating (17+) is truly deserved, I've read the web novel, as this is the first book, it's great and not that bad, however in books 2 and 4 (flashback books) it gets really heavy. As an 18-year-old, this is not suited for younger audiences. I can read most things and not so much as blink, but this was emotionally a lot, and I was crying by the end of book 4, which doesn't often happen. It's been 3 days and I'm still processing book 4.

Trigger warnings below, which I have taken from a Tumblr post here: https://nyerus.tumblr.com/post/662343...

Having currently read up until book 5, I can say these are accurate

Main Warnings:
*These are things that are featured somewhat regularly in the story–not excessive but may catch someone off-guard.

Graphic Depictions of Violence
Gore
Body horror (e.g. mentions and depictions of “human face disease,” a disease in the story that causes humanoid faces to appear on the body)
Gaslighting & Manipulation

Other Warnings:
*These are not as prominent or occur in only limited situations. However, they can be severe within their scenes.

(I the commenter am adding cannibalism to this list)
Child abuse
Suicide and Attempted Suicide
Self-harm
Graphic physical and mental torture
Mind break [/insanity]
Abandonment
Mentions of abortion, infanticide (Ty @solluxisms!)
(Please see under the cut for more detailed, book-by-book content warnings if you would like them. Possible spoilers!)
