Ann Neff
Ann Neff asked Joy Ellis:

Hi Ms. Ellis - this is a small question, but one that has me thrown a little as I thought I had the answer, but I then heard a different answer. In the first Jackman and Ellis book it was said that Jackman attended Cambridge and then I believe in the second one I believe they said he attended Oxford. Did I miss something with this? Thank you so much!!

Joy Ellis Hi again, Ann! Well this is odd, because Jackman was definitely Cambridge... I've checked the manuscripts for all the Jackman books and can find no mention of Oxford, except in the second book, and that is referring to another character, a girl called Danni. The only other mention of Oxford was not even about the uni, but referring to a shirt! In The Guilty Ones he does talk to his mother about his father's wish for him to do better, and they mention university, but not by name. Unless something strange happened in editing and his higher education was subtlety altered for some reason, (ha-ha!) it's a mystery! If I've missed something I apologise, but I've scoured the books and cannot come up with an answer. You take care, x
