Hi Adrienne what gave you the idea to write “sky in the deep and the girl the sea gave back”?

Adrienne Young I've always loved Nordic history, culture and art so it felt like a world I was really drawn to. When I came up with the idea for the story, I knew the main character was a warrior and that setting felt like a perfect fit. But the original inspiration was the brother/sister story between Eelyn and Iri.
