This is such a subjective question, so it’s difficult to say. Personally, I don’t think it was explicit, but there were sex scenes described in detail. (Talk of orgasms, oral sex, etc.) I think it’s an adult book, so if you’re considering it for an older teen, it will really depend on your comfort level and the maturity of the teen. Nothing was graphically smutty in my opinion.
