The order you read them doesn't matter too much until you get to the second era of Mistborn. There is no overlap of the first Mistborn trilogy and WoK so you are fine to read them in any order. As far as crossovers you are moving into pretty significant spoiler so I'll just say that they are both cosmere series so there will always be some crossover.
