Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Marielle Thompson The idea for Where Ivy Dares to Grow came from the merging of a lot of different places -- Taylor Swift's song "ivy" (which definitely inspired the title!), reading personal letters and journaling from 19th century authors particularly Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley, the isolation of quarantine, immigrating to a new country, and being diagnosed with a dissociative disorder and learning more about how to manage my mental health.
