Sorry it took so long to get back to you, lots of stuff going on… I love all the episodes of Time Tunnel, it’s my favourite show ever (closely followed by Lost in Space and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, The Invaders, Outer Limits, and Man from UNCLE), probably easier to list the two duds, which for me are “Kill Two by Two” and “Invasion”, although even they each have a good scene in them (Nakamura seeing his son, the accidental reveal of the traitor in the Resistance). Also not too keen on “Devil’s Island”, “Reign of Terror”, “Walls of Jericho”, “Idol of Death”, and “Death Merchant”, but still watch ‘em when they come round. Favourite guest performances are Carroll O’Connor, Michael Rennie, Joe Maross as Custer, Robert Duvall, Victor Jory, and John Crawford throughout. Favourite scenes, Halley’s Comet coming through Tunnel, ghost of Nero in Tunnel (absolutely mental), and pirate on the bridge. Best idea: Russian Tunnel in 1956. Favourite ‘straight’ episodes are Pearl Harbour, “Night of the Long Knives”, Custer, and the pilot, favourite silly ones are Robin Hood (the ‘Homing Post’, OMG), the silver aliens and the ghost town, “Chase Through Time”, and Khartoum. Also love Merlin and Marco Polo episodes. See, can always narrow it down to about twenty! No-one nerdier than me when it comes to classic comics and TV. All the best…

Hi John, Voyage is my thing, what in your view is the best Season 3 ep? I have a thing for Death from ze past (thats like being a Trekker and liking "Spoks Brain!") , anyway its bonkers and you can hear all the detonators firing the pyro sparks off on it, but its just hilariously good entertainment. Day the World ended is genuinely good- Season 3 was one of the show's most popular but the purists hate it. Purists ha!

I am a bit bonkers as I copy the DVDS onto CD for in-car listening.I get a few odd looks and thats just from the family! Hi John, My turn to apologise, been crackers at work. I also tend to check my richardryan1@sky.com email more! Time Tunnel was supposedly Irwins favourite I heard? It has many ace scenes, my fave is "Revenge of the Gods" in large part due to the excellent Stevens score and the comical sending the grenades back stuff! It was also the first ep I saw after years of none strangely enough at a Star trek con, Cheers R.
