I'm trying to figure out if Every Crooked Path, Every Deadly Kiss, & Every Wicked Man as far as Patrick Bowers stories goes, do they take place before the chess pieces (& checkmate)? I'm halfway through Opening Moves (I'm so enthrilled!!) So I wanted to read the stories in chronological order. All I've found online was Opening Moves then the 7 book series, & then the other 3 books. I got confused.

Great question! Every Crooked Path, Every Deadly Kiss, and Every Wicked Man happen in the years between Opening Moves and The Pawn, which is the first in the chess series. I'm glad you're enjoying the books. Best wishes, Steven
