When you finish writing a book do you read it? And once the book is done do you mark it as read on goodreads?

David Estes Thanks for the questions, Chloe! I absolutely read every book I write, usually about five times. At least one of those readings is out loud, which I've found to be a very effective way to catch typos and sentence structure issues. My main purpose for reading isn't to read my own book, but rather to make sure there aren't any final revisions required :)

And yes, I also mark it as "Read" on Goodreads, mostly so that my friends and followers can then see that I have a new book and they can add it to their own To-Read lists if it looks like something they'd enjoy.

So I was wondering if you have any books that were released in any other languages (Portuguese specifically) or if you plan on doing so? My blog is bilingual, so that's why I ask... Hmmm! I guess I'll just have to wait. Because Of a "small" stroke in 2019 I'm unable to read a book anymore, as I get stuck on a sentence. So, as much as I appreciate your offer of a signed bookmark all I could do is put it in a drawer. LOL Which series of yours do you suggest I read next?
