This might be a silly question, but do you have a favorite book you've written? Whether you thought it was your best writing or you enjoyed writing it more?

April Henry Not a silly question at all.

I really enjoyed thinking of the twists and turns of The Girl Who Was Supposed to Die. The Girl I Used to Be has a character just like my mom, Nora (even the same name as my mom). I wrote it while she was on hospice and even read part of it to her. It was a way of keeping her alive.

I always enjoy writing at least a big chunk of my books. One of the most fun parts to me is learning new things. For the book I'm working on now, I've learned about private jets, surviving on a mountain in winter (after the plane crashes), and how drones work (the bad guy sends one up to make everyone died). People who are experts are surprisingly happy to talk to me.
