I know this isn't a question, but STILLMEADOW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL'S 4th and 5th grade classes really appreciated you and J.J. having a virtual author visit with us. We all really enjoyed Shine and the author visit. We also didn't get to ask you this, but are you going to make a sequel to Shine?

Hi! We enjoyed our visit with you. At this time, we have no plans to make a sequel. Piper went through quite a "character arc" and is transformed by the end of the story. Usually, when you are doing a series, the main character still has something that they need to solve. We left Piper in pretty good shape and spirits!
