is there any progress on possibly a sequel to the first book of The Field Guide to the North American Teenager, cause the first one was amazing. I like the idea of doing one about Maddie and have Nor as a supporting character and go from where it left off that would be a great story in my eyes?

Thank you! That's so nice. Still no plans yet, unfortunately. I think I'm more drawn to new settings and characters as opposed to extended universes? They always fit a bit awkwardly for me when it comes to coming-of-age stories. But if it were to ever happen, that would be the premise and, yes, I do love the idea of glue-of-the-family Maddie having to deal with her parents' divorce and getting pulled to all sides with Norris as a...well, that would be telling. :)

Hey Ben! It’s been a few years, man. What are our thoughts on a sequel? Getting to hear the perspective of Norris Kaplan as he figured out- like most teenagers do- that the world doesn’t revolve around him was beyond insightful and interesting. I believe hearing your ideas from other characters views, from where they were left off would fuel the theme of learning and growing as teens. Enjoyed your writing very much!

Hello! So I just finished Charming as a Verb and promptly went on a Googling rampage about you, which took me to your website and bunch of other stuff. Every time I came across something new, I felt more and more silly and theatrical, (laughing at all the hilarious things on your website, etc) which is just what happened while I was reading your novel. And I HAVE to ask: Where do you get your wonderful humor?
