Around what time period is the last apprentice series? It seems to be around the time the Americas were discovered and the colonization from Europe. If it is, will there be spooks who move from Europe and go to the newly discovered continent to deal with new threats from the dark? Maybe a spook was there during the hysteria of the "Salem Witch Trials".

Joseph Delaney Salem would be interesting territory for a spook! But I always try to avoid actual historical events which have dates. If I had to say ( and did for the purposes of costuming for the film) it would be seventeenth century but it is really set in a mythical Lancashire.
