Okay, is it just me or did anyone else find Lily annoying as heck? I seriously think I’ve never met any other characters that got on my nerves as much as she did. I empathise with the situation she’s in, but she keeps illogically jumping into conclusion (especially in chapter 52) and the way she guilt trips Russ is just intolerable.

She seemed to be a nubile, innocent, strong spirited girl to establish the 'type' of young woman the perp would target. She grated on me too. However, in the newspaper story I don't think she deserved being reported as the person to call the police on him.(less)
