This is not a question, but I feel the need to say 'Spell Sweeper is the BEST book I have ever read. The book is so addictive, I started reading the book on January 29 and finnished it Febuary 13! I would love if you wrote a second bookon Spell Sweeper, so we can find out what happend to Su and if they found the Q-Man. How on did you come up with this book? But over all best book in the world!

Lee Edward Födi Thank you for your kind words about Spell Sweeper. I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Maybe I will one day write a sequel. To answer your question about how I came up with this book? Well, I really wanted to write a fantasy book where the main character was not the “Chosen One” in the story, but a side character who was just working in the corners, without fame and celebrity (though those are two things she really wants). I think a lot of us can relate to that feeling of wishing we had something more, or something different, even though we what we DO have is pretty good . . . and that’s what I wanted Cara to discover in this book. She doesn’t have to be the Chosen One to make a difference.

Also, I really wanted to write a book about brooms that were magical, but I wanted to do something different from flying. So then I thought: What if they are for sweeping? But, of course, in the magical world, the brooms would sweep up spells. So, once I had those two thoughts, the story began to take shape.
