I may be asking the obvious, but is this a clean read?

Lauren Shelton | Cowtown Reads Other Christians will disagree with me, but yes - this is a clean read. Though I think the “clean” label is very vague in that it’s open to interpretation. There are sex scenes in this book - but they’re not descriptive. It’s a story of a literal prostitute, based on a Bible story about a prostitute, I’m surprised so many are shocked by this. The Bible is a “clean” read, yet it includes sex, rape, incest, lust, murder, etc… all of which are also found in this novel. The content may make some readers uncomfortable but that doesn’t make it an “unclean” read.
