In the last scene between Lynley and Daidre, he realizes that she's been, 'trying to tell him something all along' and her bringing her sister to London is the way she's finally chosen. What was she trying to tell him? I get the gist that he was trying to make Daidre into someone she isn't, but not the specific message. The scene was fraught and yet oddly vague for me.
