In the book, it's implied that there are two male side characters who are mlm. If I remember correctly Axie Oh confirmed these characters are queer on her IG.

Technically yes. There are two Achillean (MLM) prominent side characters that are vaguely implied to be in a relationship at the end. One of them is explicitly stated to have flirted with a man on-screen.

Frankly, I do not think that the very vaguely implied Achillean relationship in the book can be counted as representation. If the author has to clarify on her socials that an overtly platonic relationship between two men is in fact romantic, that tells us that its depiction in the actual novel is not explicit enough to count as rep.
