Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

K.P. Roberson Between the Birches started out as an Appalachian Haint story, then evolved into a romance. I know it sounds stupid, but my husband and I were rewatching the movies and I was like, “I can do this better.” Unfortunately, my heart wasn’t into the whole sparkly vampires thing, so I went more cosmic horror… with romance! It has built since it’s inception 2-3 years ago and I love the direction and groove I’ve found.
