I could be wrong, but I was really bothered by the scene in which someone has sex with another someone while he/she is asleep. I didn't see anyone commenting it, was it sexual assault?

Mhor Thank you for writing this, as I will not be reading this book now.
jarmilka I thought exactly the same, and the fact that it didn’t came up at all and she practically doesn’t even know that it happened is really disturbing
Shanayah there was actually two instances in this book, one with a drunken character who couldn't consent (even if she was the one who was determined that he 'help her out') - she was completely off her head and he was completely sober. the second instance was straight up r*pe while he was asleep (!!!), and i genuinely can't believe the amount of reviews that don't even mention it. it was SO disturbing the way the book tried to romanticise the r*pe too?????
Lexie Shumate This is another reason I just don't like this book. This does happen, and it's romanticized. Then it never comes up again. It's disgusting and a little triggering.
Meemansha Mallick It ticked me the wrong way too. He didn't even bother to tell her he did that. She was asleep for God's sake.
Rockie Exactly my thoughts! I actually just got to this part and had to stop reading. Came on here to see if anyone else felt the same.
