I just finished reading the first Charlie Throne book. It was awesome. BTW, i wanted to know that what was your process for creating such a puzzle? (in The Last Equation)

Stuart Gibbs To be honest, that puzzle/clue took years. It was based on an idea I originally had as a teenager, but I didn't quite know what to do with it. So I had the idea for a long time, and when I came up with the plot for Charlie, I realized i could use my old idea, then combined it with some new ones I had while brainstorming.

Hi Mr. Gibbs! I love your books. I was fascinated with Erica from Spy School. Did you ever think of a way she developed her skills? How did she learn that many languages? Did she teach herself those languages because it seems unlikely Cyrus believes in teaching languages.

Hi Mr. Gibbs, I'm one of your young fans. After reading so many different books I just feel like writing a book for fun and for my family and friends. I just feel like I need to write down on paper this plot in my head. I'm not even sure what genre it is. I'd say it has fantasy, adventure, thriller, realistic fiction, and science fiction. Do you have any advice? Should I have one genre only?
