as many have said most libraries have online books or use Libby which is free. I then just donwnload to Kindle which you can even read online and its all free. For the most part libraries have all the new books.

you can use Vk and there are websites which can save your book like just writing the name of the book and adding epub with it cause I do that for a lot of books, hope this helped.

I use the Kindle App on my iPad. You can get Kindle Unlimited for $10 a month and download up to 20 books at a time, but most new/popular books don't seem to be on there. I still really enjoy it, particularly for contemporary romance. For things that aren't on Kindle Unlimited, I have a card for my local library and they have ebooks availably on Libby/Overdrive. You should look at your local library's website and see if they have an online catalog - most large public libraries these days do. Between Libby/Overdrive and KU, I can almost always find the books I want and the ones I can't find is when I splurge and pay for them :)

I mainly use the Kindle app on my iPad, but I have a few Kindle Fires and a Kindle Oasis, which is nice. I also use the Nook and Kobo app on my iPad when I purchase ebooks from B&N and Kobo.
