Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

T.C. Marti I often work on several books simultaneously, both within and outside the Renegades Epic. But in 2024, the one idea that inspired me to start working on a young adult fantasy came from a Quora question: "Why didn't Lord Voldemort just adopt Harry?"

At this point, a girl with forgettable features named Yote Diamondback walked into my head and I immediately dropped everything to prewrite a series that I've described as "Harry Potter in Reverse," and one with strong libertarian themes when it comes to education.
