Hi Juliet! I hope you and your family are doing fine in these challenging times. Your books, especially the first 2 of the Sevenwater series are my favourite of all times and I have read most of you work. In fact, my first tattoo is a bee in my right wrist like Bran! I was wondering, has the pandemic afect your work and writing process in any way? I find myself feeling less creative. Best regards from Portugal!

Juliet Marillier Hi Ana! I hope you are OK too - we are all well at present.
The pandemic has certainly affected my work - the result is that I won't have a new book out this year, as I did very little writing in 2021. I found it quite hard to maintain focus and enthusiasm, even though in my part of Australia the impact of the pandemic has so far been relatively slight. That's about to change when our state border re-opens in early February, and we are quite anxious about that. I'm working on a proposal for a new series, and if my agent likes it, that may give me the incentive to get started again. Meanwhile I am enjoying reading lots of books for pleasure.
