One cannot read your novel without thinking of Bradbury's "The Martian Chronicles". What do you think of that book? Have you considered the idea of writing a "Bradburian" version of your story? (i.e. an extraterrestrial being observing Watney, or Watney telling the "true" version of his adventure he didn't dare to record on his log)

Andy Weir No, I never considered any aliens of any kind.

Do you mind sharing some of your experiences related to your level of involvement with the film adaptation of the novel? It seems that author involvement runs the gambit from completely out of the loop, to veto power on Direction, and I always find myself thinking of what the author would have thought of the film version afterwards, and what input they had into it. I'd love to hear your perspective.
