Even though this piece is fiction, I love when I find a book and the setting is so close to where I grew up, (Shippensburg,PA) makes the book all that more interesting for me when reading. Johnstown definitely is a predominantly white, prejudice area. I'm curious to know how you found out about this little rinky-dink town? Did you grow up in Pennsylvania or close to Johnstown?
