First, I really enjoyed the book even though it kept me up into the early hours reading. Mark Watney's personality (as well as intelligence) manifests itself throughout the story. It gives him the drive persevere as well as make some interesting and funny log entries. How much of your personality/character did you impart into Mark Whatney?
