Hey Paul, you ever interested in writing for other genres? P.S. You like Jazz?

Paul Tremblay I mess around with other genres occasionally with my short fiction, or sometimes add horror in to another genre? (The upcoming The Pallbearers Club is a faux-memoir mixed with horror).

I like Jazz but I'm very much not an expert. I tend to listen to old punk.

Just finished A Head Full of Ghosts, and have just started Disappearance, just wanted to say that I really love your cinematic storytelling style. Wondered why we haven't seen trailers for the movies that almost certainly could (and should) be made of your books, or if they're on the way? Also, is it a deliberate choice to write cinematically or is it just a matter of it being your style of writing? Thanks!

I just finished Disappearance at Devil's Rock. I grew up in the area (Stoughton) and I think you really nailed the setting, and also nailed the teen boy characterizations. Are the teen boys in your story modeled after your students?
