One thing has troubled me about this book since I read it. The author talks about trying to recover some Chinese porcelain. Given Chinese artefacts were looted by the British, I was really curious whether the author knows the provenance of his family's Chinese porcelain? This wasn't addressed in the book so I'm wondering if anyone has heard any interviews with him where he answers this?
