What was the deal with Mateo's dad being Lara's mystery man "D"? It seemed irrelevant and I don't understand how she was getting married to him considering her scandal -- did he not care? This was definitely not the big cliffhanger we usually get at the end of the books and I'm not sure what the author was trying to achieve here..
