Goodreads asked Jsin Graham:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Jsin Graham Do...the...words. Write! I am a notorious overthinker. I am also a closet perfectionist. In knowing this, I understand dealing with bouts of second-guessing one's ability as a writer. As a creative, I see any first draft/variation of anything as a chance to spark something else. My advice to aspiring writers, is two-fold. First, write what you see/hear/feel as it comes. Second, "keep your eyes on your own paper," that's something I heard once from either Tasha L. Harrison or D.L. White (authors). In other words...

1.) give yourselves grace--write the way your brain tells you to
2.) DO NOT compare your work to others--tell your stories
