I am enjoying The Second Blind Son. Please help!! I don't quite understand a rune. Is it a letter/tattoo, protection, a prophecy? I have not read the first book in the series. Perhaps that is why I am missing the definition.

Amy Harmon I hope you went back and read the first book. A rune is a symbol. If it's on the skin, it would probably look like a tattoo or scar. On wood, an engraving, etc.
