Claudia
Claudia asked Michael Laimo:

Did you draw on Lovecraftian influences when you wrote the masterpiece horror novel Deep In The Darkness?

Michael Laimo Not really. It's inspired by Don't be Afraid of the Dark, as well as Salem's Lot, and a little Clive Barker. I seem to take on a Lovecraftian tone when I write horror in first person. Truth be told: I've never read much Lovecraft.
