Joseph Delaney Well seventh sons have the gifts outlined in the books such as some degree of immunity against witches. As for his lamia blood, we only see what Tom inherits. It will be different for each human descended from that bloodline. Tom can change into a deadly form of lamia but he cannot control that gift fully. The change comes about because of external threats as we see in ‘The Dark Assassin’.
