Did anyone else think the ending was so abrupt? Two small chapters for the big reveal and then that was that.

Andy55 I agree, I am finding that with a lot of books, your reading/listening and then in the last chapter they throw everything at you at once. I didn't care for the authors choice of who done it, or the epilogue where I would have liked to have some sort of wrap up for ALL the characters, especially since they received so much $$ and their relationships were struggling, did Rose get charged, did she give the $$ back to Dan etc
Judith YES...abrupt & anticlimactic. Too much stalling around until there are no viable red-herrings, & the big reveal has to be one of the siblings--no surprise there! Really, who even cares by the time the ending is dumped on you?

Jen Yes!!! 100% the reason why I came to see what other questions had been asked about this book. The ending was so abrupt and I was very surprised to suddenly read a nice and tidy explanation by the culprit. Agreed with some other posters who thought there other more realistic culprits (Rose, Audrey's daughter, etc.).

Serena Exactly! I think the ending was too abrupt also. What happened to the rest of the characters, how did their life turn out. It felt to me like the author just got tired of writing so just finished it!
Leona Agreed, didn’t like the ending.
