HAVE YOU EVER HAD WHAT YOU THOUGHT WOULD BE A GREAT BOOK AND ONLY AFTER YOU STARTED TO DO RESEARCH OR EVEN WRITE, YOU FOUND OUT SOMEONE ELSE ALREAD WROTE A BOOK ON THAT VERY SUBJECT?

They say there are only 12 plots, but there are so many different ways to tell a story, I don't worry too much about it. The only book I've written that I feel had been done before was a female Robin Hood story, DESIRE'S RANSOM. I set mine in Ireland and used a French knight for a hero, so I don't think readers would feel like they've heard the story before.

My cousin did a genealogy of our family and we discovered my ancestors were mercenaris who were awarded land and titles. I want to visit Scotland and see where I come from. I want to walk where they walked. Have you ever done this and has your family history inspired your writing?
