Has anyone else noticed inconsistencies, not in plot (though plenty of those) but blatant editing errors? I had a few moments reading the Kindle version of "huh, I don't remember Sera mentioning this" but figured I may have accidentally skimmed past something. Then there was a moment where the "Red Forest" was introduced, and Sera asked why it was named the "Dying Forest." Did the publisher send Amazon the wrong copy?

Sherri Thomas Totally just caught this EXACT same thing and am thoroughly irritated!! So much so that I googled and found this comment. This is not the first editing mistake I’ve found in this book, so distracting and annoying! Get a better editor, JLT!
Jessica I just got to this part and I'm like "I have to look this up. I'm not crazy" insane this makes it through what I assume books like this go through in terms of rereading before publishing.
Katrina Ok yes and one time she mentions "all thought of a boat and escape left me" or something when she had never mentioned thinking about those things. happens a few times. takes you out of it.
KateR. I think you’re confusing details. There are multiple forests; the Dark Forest in Lasania, the Dead forest in Iliseum is the one that looks like it has been effected by the rot and the Red Forest is the one made up of Blood Trees with the entombed bodies of Gods buried underneath.
