I think she is incredibly misguided, and because she has such a platform, her misguided views are spreading hate which is causing active harm to people. She is also advocating for laws and policies that deny people rights and supports organizations that work to deny those rights.
The question of whether this makes her a bad person, is up for debate. On one hand, I do believe that she genuinely believes that she is doing the right thing. On the other hand, her words and actions are causing real world harm. It's an old philosophical question, shall we be judged by our intentions, or by our deeds and their outcomes?
