I relate a lot to DS Barbara Havers as someone who is introverted and wary of romantic relationships, and who gets into trouble often for her brutal honesty. What would be your advice to/opinion of a 32-year-old Indian woman who is the living version of Barbara (in character and mindset) but not in the police?

I'm in Seattle and am really anxious to go to one of your appearances. However, they're always either on days/evenings I'm unable to go OR in north Seattle (I'm in south Seattle). Can you please speak at either the Seattle downtown library or somewhere south? BTW, your latest book about FGM was riveting!
