Typically, my writer's block isn't quite a "block" but instead it's a feeling that the current scene I'm working on isn't being done right (thank you, my need for perfection). To beat this, I usually just power through even though I know it's not my best work and I remind myself that the first draft is supposed to be absolutely terrible! There is nothing that you cannot fix with revisions
