Glynnis Campbell What a curious question! I've actually already done this in a book--The Outcast--where the heroine invents a prosthetic limb for the hero. But since I'm writing in the past, I can't invent something that doesn't exist today. Most inventions have well-known inventors, so about all I can write are inventive hacks. Keep your eye on Ian of Rivenloch, however--he's pretty much a genius, and he may come up with something brilliant when he gets his own story!
