What would you recommend as the best modern book to read the ancient myth stories? I lacked it in my education, but do not want a critique, just the stories told accurately.

Linda Kantor- Swerdlow I really enjoyed Stephen Fry 's retelling. Mythos, Heroes and Troy. I listened to Troy on audio and it was great fun.
