Jeffrey
Jeffrey asked Glynnis Campbell:

I ONCE READ AN INTERVIEW WITH AN AUTHOR WHO TOLD ABOUT HOW SHE HAD ONCE GOTTEN A REJECTION LETTER FROM A PUBLISHER. THE LETTER THOUGH PRAISED HER WRITING. HAVE YOU EVER GOTTEN A REJECTION LETTER FOR A BOOK THAT ALSO INCLUDED PRAISE FOR YOU AND YOUR WRITING?

Glynnis Campbell Rejection letters come in all forms, from photocopied form rejections to detailed suggestion letters. What's important is the conclusion. Is the publisher saying the book isn't right for them? Are they requesting a re-submission of this book with edits? Are they asking for another, different book? I've had "good" rejection letters that liked my writing, but just didn't have a spot for this particular book at this time and wanted something else.
