When creating the appearances of your heroes, are you inspired by 18th century art? You breathed life into so many portrait paintings for me.

Elizabeth Hoyt Hi Eave, Yes and no. Unfortunately some 18th century art makes men look very feminine indeed (looking at you, Jean-Honoré Fragonard!) However, I do like looking at what the men are wearing and what they have in the background, especially in portraits. And of course there are a few quite nice looking men in old paintings.
