How do you deal with writer’s block?

Zoe Disigny I haven't really had to deal with that yet, at least not the kind where you can't write. What I do encounter, though, is sitting at my computer for hours and writing away, or researching away and making absolutely no progress. Instead of stopping to take a break, clear my head, call it a day, I keep at it. I waste a good deal of time this way. Although I'm not staring at a blank page, my nonstop actions are equally nonproductive.
