Lots of people drink, smoke and eat too much without a thought for the consequences – the future damage to their health! I've read the Spook's Apprentice series several times, Mr. Delaney, and recommend them at the bookstore where I work. My question is about the landscape and environments of the books: they are so realistic you feel you need that bit of cheese to keep walking :-) What did you base the landscape on? Your own countryside or areas that you love to walk in?
