When anyone begins writing, I think they naturally gravitate toward what fascinates them. I was fascinated by castles and knights and tales of chivalry, so that was what I started writing. Though I've had ideas for contemporary stories, I'm always drawn back to the Middle Ages.

Hi, Glynnis. Do you think that writing historical romances is harder than other types of romance? The reason I ask is because I know that in order for a historical romance to be well written it has to be historically accurate. The author needs to be familiar with the customs, styles of dress, rules of society, etc.
