Coffee. I'm kidding... mostly... There are two items to my ritualistic morning routine: First, coffee. Second, Music. I tend to listen to music while I write because it helps me zone out.
That's the morning. If I don't find my inspiration when I'm slapping words out of my keyboard, then it usually comes while I'm driving. I'm not sure if it's the road that draws ideas out or if it's the music. What I do know is that the two of them together does something to coax that little creator in me out of his box.
